Current Research Interests

We are focussed on re-engineering and re-positioning nature derived waste materials for high value applications. For example, we use hair-derived keratins as raw materials to engineer various platforms for biomedical, environmental and urban farming applications. We also use nanocellulose derived from plant wastes as food ingredients to modulate fat absorption through the gut.
